The Scariest Thing About Change Is Realising You Can't Force It
On Cherry, the human mind, and the gap between wanting change and actually becoming changed.
Writing
I write to make sense of things, to explore ideas, and sometimes simply to tell a good story. Here you will find essays and personal notes alongside scripts, short series, and the fictional worlds I am learning to create.
Substack
Letters for chaotic minds and hopeful hearts: curiosity, becoming, and the messier side of building a life across art, code, and ideas.
Medium
Documenting the slow, honest work of becoming: essays on healing, softness, self-trust, and starting again.
On Cherry, the human mind, and the gap between wanting change and actually becoming changed.
A follow-up to choosing myself — on plans that slipped, quiet avoidance, and learning to begin again without shame.
Finding my way back to myself — on friendship, solitude, and sixteen weeks of intentional self-trust.
Stories in progress
Scripts, short series, and fiction I am still building. Not finished pieces yet, just the stories I keep returning to.
A romantic short series about outgrowing the past and learning to trust again. A woman left at the altar walks away from love for two years, until her best friend's wedding throws her together with the groom's best man. They fight, get set up on a holiday, and slowly open up to each other, until a misunderstood text almost ends everything, and an airport reunion brings them back together.
A story about a couple caught between two extremes: one who has never had enough love, and one who has always had too much to give. Still finding the shape of their relationship and what balance looks like between them.
A psychological story about a man who slowly turns his wife into someone unrecognisable. Exploring what love becomes when it curdles, and how rumours outlive the truth.
